Solo Practice Blueprint

Creating an Effective Online Presence for Your Practice

Everyone says your practice needs a website, but no one tells you how to get one that fits your specific needs. In this series, we’ll explore the tools and strategies to create an effective online presence for your practice. If you’re a solo professional looking to launch or level up your private practice, you’re in the right place.

About the Series

Welcome to the first episode of Smart Solo Practice, a show for Canadian professionals in solo private practice. Each episode delivers tips and tech to help you run a calmer, more organized practice.

In this initial series, we’ll tackle three core questions:

  1. Why do you even need a website for your solo practice?
  2. What are the key elements of an effective web presence?
  3. How can you get a website that helps your practice grow?

With so many options available, finding the right tools to run your practice can be a time-sink. I spent the past three years assembling a curated collection of tools that meet the specific needs of Canadian solo practitioners. And now, it’s time to share my findings in a series I like to call Solo Practice Blueprint.

Goals of the Series

This series will help you achieve three things:

  1. Create an elegant and secure website to showcase your expertise.
  2. Attract your ideal clients and make it easy for them to work with you.
  3. Automate repetitive tasks so you can focus on running your practice.

I’ll share what I learned using plain, non-technical language in a tight format that respects your time.

About Your Host

I’m Greg Mount, the founder of Armoury Media. We build secure websites with integrated marketing and practice automation for Canadian professionals in solo private practice.

In a previous career, I spent over two decades at the University of Toronto, leading the IT team at the Faculty of Dentistry. We implemented the clinic management system for Canada’s largest and most complex dental clinic.

Next, I left the University for the private sector to launch a Toronto-based web development and media production firm. We worked with diverse clients, from solo healthcare professionals to multinational architecture firms.

Over the years, I’ve built a lot of websites for a lot of professionals.

In 2018, I founded Armoury Media to focus on working with solo practitioners. Based on my past experience, I realized that professionals in solo private practice share the same needs and challenges as large organizations.

Let’s Do This Together

Whether your practice is big or small, we all face the same challenges, risks, and legal requirements. That’s why I built a platform for solo professionals that follows the same rigorous best practices I implemented at larger institutions. And in this first season of Smart Solo Practice, I’ll show you how to do it, too.
